As a long time client with Vodacom, I am truly disgusted that Vodacom has charged me for the remaining months of my 24 contract for a Samsung 2 after I upgraded to a Samsung 4. I think it is shocking that the sales consultant that assisted me on my upgrade, did not mention to me that I was still liable for the handset until my contract expires which is in October. If I had known this, i would definitely have only upgraded when my contract expires as I have a budget. To receive a bill for an extra R200-00 a month is ludicrous. I will definitely not be renewing my contract with Vodacom again as no other network that I know of actually charges for a handset after you have upgraded your contract. To all other Vodacom customers, please be aware.
