I ph customer care on 2/12/2013 to ask why my account was debited with R269.01 instead of R179. Only to be told by the consultant that I'm being charged R90 extra as the ph of the prev contract had not reached it's 24th month yet. So when I upgraded on the 5/10/2013 I was made to believe that I would only pay R179 monthly (top 99 contract, so in summary I'm being charged R179 R90. Why does Vodacom have to to customers in order to get business, are your services that that you have to LIE & from customers & make them believe they are getting a good deal. At no time did the consultant (Omar) who assisted me with my upgrade explain to me that I would still be charged the cost of the other ph. I also have a MTN (my network of choice) contract and never have they ripped me off, unlike Vodacom, When you upgrade with MTN there is no hidden cost, what you signed for is what is deducted. I've only ever had problems with Vodacom, from broken phones to & service, it just never seems to end. I wish the next 24 months go by so quickly so that I can cancel my contract & cut all ties with Vodacom for good. This truly is the WORST NETWORK EVER
