I signed up for a Telkom package which was advertised for R540 per month. The package included a 1mbps ADSL line, Uncapped internet monthly, Telkom line rental, and free evening and weekend calls. Received my first and it exceeded the R540 threshold. In fact there was a promotion running with included free installation. Yet, my bill from Telkom reflects that I pay 1102.54 for installation and this excludes VAT.

Telkom is a rip off and a company with no business ethics. They never return calls and their call centre agents aren't equipped to resolve the matter over the phone.

I expect a Telkom representative to call me and have this dispute resolved immediately.
