False Advertising- First Month with Telkom

I signed up for a Telkom package which was advertised for R540 per month. The package included a 1mbps ADSL line, Uncapped internet monthly, Telkom line rental, and free evening and weekend calls. Received my first and it exceeded the R540 threshold. My account has been doubled due to the person setting up creating two usernames.

In fact there was a promotion running with included free installation. Yet, my bill from Telkom reflects that I pay 1102.54 for installation and this excludes VAT. When the VAT is added, I am paying R2511.00 to the total bill.

Telkom is a rip off and a company with no business ethics. They never return calls and their call centre agents aren't equipped to resolve the matter over the phone.

I expect a Telkom representative to call me and have this dispute resolved immediately.
