Its been 2 days, still no response to query logged.
Hi, I called the call centre /-2 weeks ago. I was rudely dealt with by Thabang Letanke, and requested to be put through to the team leader. I then spoke to Philane Ndwandwe, who proceeded to assist me with my billing query. He promised me that this would be resolved within 2 weeks and that I would receive a email notification of the refund promised for my over billing. I have received neither the refund on my account, as viewed now on the active site, nor the email. My query is this, if i did an early upgrade on my contract and needed to pay the full contract amount for the remaining period and then the full contract amount thereafter for a 24 month period why did i begin paying the amount early and am still paying it 26/27 months into a 24 month contract. Surely if I started paying it early and was then in contract for a 24 month period (as i have been) ishould either revert back to just the contract fee or similiar. I've been a loyal MTN subscriber for the past 12 years or so, but this sort of service makes me wonder if loyalty counts for anything. Please get back to me soonest as I would like to sort this out before the next billing perio
