My 8ta contract expired on 2nd June 2013 and in April I called the call centre to request that it be terminated at the end. I was told to call in May. I did that on the 6th May and was told to email reason for cancellation and copy of my ID. on the 1st June a premium was deducted and i thought it was the last one. Surprisingly on 1st July, another premium was deducted. When i queried that, it appeared as if they could not access the attached ID copy. I sent them my ID number and followed on with two more emails to get answers. only on the 23rd July do they tell me to fill in a cancellation form and it will take 20-30 more days to cancel, while in the meantime they are deducting premiums.
My question is why does such a huge organization have to mess up with little people like us? they are -bent on squeezing the last cent out of our pockets. I don't care how many adverts they do trying to lure the consumer, I will never fall in their trap. I expect them to refund the premiums they deducted since the contract ended because I kept my end of the bargain.
