I certainly won't recommend Cell C! Accepted FNB promo for modem/sim & 2gig data. CellC messed up delivery but eventually received 7 days after delivery date. So Rica'ed, activated & capped. Within 27 min, had problem with amount of data. After going through lengthy process of telephone prompts, first consultant puts me through to tech support & get "after hours" message @ 10:31am on Tuesday. Apparently can only get tech support if phone from cell C number... Phoned again & Olivia assists, can't help cos not mobile number so ask for supervisor - she puts me on hold. Gave up after 10min 39sec on hold. Really want answer, maybe did not hold long enough so phoned again, asked for supervisor AGAIN. Next consultant puts me on hold for 19min 57 sec - really tried to be patient but seriously - 20 minutes!!! Phoned again to cancel but will cost over R1000 - for useless mobile provider! Finally, this consultant (Samuel) gets a group supervisor to phone back, he resolves problem simply, quickly & professionally. Simple fault led to ton of frustration. First time EVER using Cell C & I don't want to use them anymore.. GO TO VODACOM OR MTN - the service can't be worse!!!
