So after 24 months of being ripped of with old pricing my contract can finally be cancelled and ported to prepaid. So I called the MTN SP and asked them to port me to prepaid and then the consultant told me if he ports me to prepaid I'm gonna loose all the airtime/data left on my number. Now my contract is a Top-up so I can see exactly how much money/data I still have left. Now that money/data on the number I already paid for so simply telling me I'm gonna lose it, it like saying were your money and were telling you. This is probably where all the free mahalla minutes come from, from people cancelling their contracts and you're their money and giving it to other people for free.
