Cell C
Illed after 4 years!! but dont have a contract!

I had a cell c contract many years ago which I cancelled when the contract was over. 2 weeks ago cell c called me to inform me that 'my account' has been handed over to the legal dept for an X amount dating back to 2009 - note this is FOUR years later.
I have requested from cell c proof of formal communication in this regard but nobody can provide me with same. also 2 different consultants give me 2 different explanations so I would like to request that a competent legal consultant call me to sort this out as I will not be paying cell c a single cent. I am aware of my rights as well as the consumer protection act.
totally inefficient and unprofessional but judging by the rest of the complaints on hello peter, I can tell I'm not the only one who has this opinion.
