It takes years to email a settlement letter

I have asked for a settlement letter to be emailed through to me since Monday last week and till today it has not come through
I was given a reference number EC-ZHY7-2C74G by Tinyiko at the collections department

I specifically gave a correct email address for this letter to be sent through and I just don't get what might the delay be about.
