11 days ago I went to Mtn to fill migration froms Vodacom to Mtn, and upgrade, all details were taken, phone was ordered etc... Friday (5 june) i went in to get the phone and the active sim. They told me the sim would be activated within the next 2-24 hours. this had not happened by monday, so I went in again to hear that my Mtn sim will be activated soon after my old Vodacom sim is deactivated. I have visited Mtn everyday since with no solution, I get sent away every time with false hope. yesterday I was there again and was told it would be sorted out shortly this was after the man who helped me called the call center to find out the problem they logged earlier was to the wrong sim number...? This morning I got an sms saying: "Yello! In order to stay connected please register your sim for RICA . Bring your ID and proof of residence to an Mtn store or participating retailer...". When will this issue be resolved!? I must compliment Mtn on their customer service the people were very kind, but that does not solve anything...
