No Service After Migration / Upgrade!!

On Sunday 29/09/2013 I received my new tablet with an upgrade on my contract. Since then I'm unable to use my simcard. On Monday at 21:14 I called the call centre and after 30 minutes of waiting, I was told that there was a problem on their network. A request was logged and I was advised that it will take 24 hours to be resolved. 24 hours later, my simcard is still not working. After waiting for 40 minutes this time around, I was told that my simcard is not RICA registered. How on earth is this possible? A simcard I've been using for years... This only happened after I did by upgrade / migration recently. MTN wants me to go and RICA register my SIM. Ha ha ha ha!!! Hopefully someone at MTN can do his / her job and fix this problem! Spoken to Mdumiso Tsabalala (supervisor in call centre) who assured me that he'll get someone to call me in the morning and have this problem resolved. Let me be honest, I'll be surprised if I get the call as promised; not only that, but if they can actually resolve his by tomorrow morning.
