On Friday, June 31st I sent a cancellation form instructing that my account be closed as of the 31st of July requesting that the form be processed immediately so that I could action my notice at Telkom. This was interpreted by your Cancellation Dept as a request to cancel my ADSL line immediately, which they did WITHOUT phoning me to check. I phoned the call centre on Friday 5th July once I returned from holiday instructing the account be reconnected, and was informed that this would only happen on Monday (Ref 20130705005365). Guess what.. This despite my email to your Cancellations Dept on Monday (Ref 20130708004147) requesting someone follow up on my instructions. Yesterday it still wasn't back on, so I made another plan for my internet connection, at my cost. So this is what is going to happen now... You are going to work out the pro-rata amount, starting from the day that my connection was erroneously stopped and up until the end of this month and refund it to me. All connections and services provided by Mweb must be immediately cancelled. I have no interest in any Mweb products or services (not that I have been on the receiving end of what anyone could call 'service').
