Impossible to cancel an account

At the end of September 2013 I phoned to cancel my Mweb 4MB uncapped internet account. I was asked to complete a cancellation form and return it to Mweb. I completed the form and returned it as requested. I did not receive any confirmation, which in hindsight I probably should have queried. I then got billed this month again and apparently no cancellation of my account was on the system. I then received a new cancellation form and completed it again, I have been attempting to fax this form through for most of the morning and I still cannot send it to the number provided. I again phoned Mweb support and was told that the fax queue is full and that I must just keep trying. All I want to do is cancel my ADSL account, why is it such a monolithic task to do so?
I have not used my account in 3 months and I am also going to insist on being credited for such, but I suppose thats a battle for another time. For now Mweb, please just get my account removed from your system so I don't get robbed again at the end of the month...
