Finally an operator who cares

With regards to a complaint I logged:

On Friday (05/09/2013) we were advised that our Siemens telephone could be partially to blame for the interference on our ADSL line. I have since tested this, and while the attenuation still fluctuates around the 50dB mark, our line speed is definitely higher (2MB line, currently at 2041kb).

I have just spoken to a Telkom operator by the name of Connie, and told her about the attenuation fluctuating.

After the nightmare I have had to endure the last seven weeks, when Connie told me she would test the line on her side and get back to me, I didn't think much of it, but sure enough, less than 30 minutes later (at 19:10 pm no less), she called me back, and told me how she had tested it, had logged a fault, and would escalate the problem. At this point there is nothing more she can do, but she was very friendly, seemed to actually care, and was the first operator I spoke to in seven weeks who actually called me back after having promised to do so.

Please relay the compliment to Connie, and please ensure she gets some form of recognition.
