In April there was a problem with my ADSL connection which left my 4 MB line functioning at 100th of it's speed. This was resolved in 3 weeks and only after purchasing bandwidth which I was unable to use.

In June my line completely disconnect but luckily was only down for 1 and a half days however on being restored it constantly lost connection. I complained and a few days later Telkom took it upon themselves to degrade my connection from 4MB to 2MB line.

The attenuation of the 2MB line is worse than it was when it was a 4MB line (They broke something when attempting to fix it).

Before they broke it:
4MB line (attenuation: 23)

After the degrade:
2MB line (attenuation: 43)

I've been told that they'll upgrade the line again and then I need to logged another call to resolved the bad connection/noise level which will be another 3 weeks to fix...

I tried to cancel my line and ADSL however their systems were down.
