I have been on an uncapped 2 MB Telkom ADSL account since Wednesday the 16th Jan and have received consistently slow connection speeds. Instead of 2MB I get less than 300kb if I'm lucky.

I complained to Telkom and kept getting passed around from on call center rep to the next having to re-explain my issue over and over. I kept getting fed the same garbage that they are escalation my case to speed up the process, yet I'm still in the same place where I was last week. I have received 2 SMS's from Telkom about 2 days apart saying the problem is resolved and that they are closing the call... this is unacceptable as the problem is still present and no one has even phoned to assist after all my calls and moaning.

I heard that there is a technical problem with their infrastructure (DSLAM) which prevented them from ever being able to provide anyone in the area with decent internet speeds, even though they are charging for it.

I have speed tests and email correspondence showing my issues... if Telkom can't fix it I want it cancelled immediately.
