No propper communication on land line installation

On Monday the 24th of June I phoned telkom and asked for a relocation from my land line in Bloemfontein to Helderkruin EXT1, Roodepoort. At that time they said there was no issues reported for the area and that everything should be fine. They said that they will send me and sms on the 28th or 29th of June on when they will come around for the installation.

So far I have not heard anything from them yet, so I phoned them yesterday to try find out whats going on. Now they tell me there is some cable issue. These things happen, I know. So I asked them what the severity is and how long this could take, and they could not answer me at all.

I have had really bad service from telkom whilst staying in Bloemfontein, and now this again. I'm sick and tired of the service telkom gives. They can at least send an sms or even an email explaining the situation, or even just come by the house and do some tests to see if they can't make a plan for me.

I have checked on the internet and asked around. People in that area definitely have ADSL.
