Mtn
Illing query not resolved in advised time frame

Telecommunications

I noted that on my January 2013 invoice I have been charged for R211.98 call charges. In October 2010 I migrated from Anytime 350 to Anytime 500. This inclusive talk time usually suffices - it has for at least the past 7 months. I checked the itemised billing and noticed that from after my first 9 calls totalling about 28 minutes, I was billed for the remaining calls. I was billed for the MTN 500 subscription fee.
I called 808 on 15/01/2013 (ref 95824377). I was asked whether I'd done anything to my contract, which I haven't. After 23 minutes on the phone, consultant advised me that one system shows I am on a 500 contract, another shows that I am on 50. It does appear that I got about R50 "free" calls.
He generated a billing query and told me to phone back within 2-3 working days. I called back at 12h38 today. Consultant told me the query is still open and to call back on Wednesday.
I am a long-standing customer and my billing has inexplicably gone wrong. If MTN can email me my bills, they should be able to email me with the resolution. 2-3 working days should have been long enough to resolve this issue. I want it resolved and shouldn't have to keep phoning back.
