I have a Vodacom 2 gig wifi data bundle contract that keeps exceeding the limit. My April bill was R1800! This month over R500! Every time I phone Vodacom to query they tell me that I have exceeded my 2 gig limit, which seems highly unlikely as I don't spend much time on the internet.
Finally got to speak to a very helpful lady today who informed me that I am being billed for a subscription to Opera Telekom. I have never heard of or subscribed to any of these 'subscriptions' which are for sexy/flirty/chat sites!
Why were the consultants that I have spoken to previously not able to give me this information but simply told my I've gone over my 2 gig limit when in fact I am actually under the 2 gig each month?
Why are Vodacom allowing these huge amounts through for this bogus 'subscriptions' and not informing their customers.
Why do Vodacom have anything to do with Opera Telekom who have hundreds of complaints against them?
Come on Vodacom - for a multimillion telecom company it is disgraceful that you are letting your valued customers be taken for a ride and then can't even point the problem out to them when they phone to query a bill! Disgusting.
