Poor Feedback, Poor Service

Telkom installed a line at our premises on the 21st of June. After arriving just after 9am, the technician worked on the line for 40- 50 mins, before taking off. He informed me that he had to go to their main service centre to have our number registered. He said this would take an hour. At 13:00, I had to leave to attend an urgent meeting at work, after which my girlfriend met up with the technician, who arrived after 15:00. On Monday, 24 June, I spoke to Nomasine at the Activation Centre, who informed me that there was a "system issue", which had been escalated to the IT dept, which resulted in our line not being activated on the phone.

I spoke to Thelma in the same dept on the 26th, and Nombulelo on the 28th, who gave me the same feedback, and promised me that I would receive a SMS confirming that the issue had been logged. Today (1 July) I spoke to 2 agents, Dudu in the morning, who told me that the technicians are "most probably still working on the issue", and then a Nellie in the afternoon, who told me that my issue had not even been logged yet! She gave me a reference number, 3933659, but who knows how much longer I need to wait. 15 calls calls in 1 WEEK! Wickus
