I requested an itemised bill for the exorbitant charges on my latest account. For the past 2 years my account has always been R377-00 and not a cent more. I was upgraded from a Blackberry to a Samsung GalaxyS111 mini. I told them I didn't want to pay more than I had in the past. I was told this particular package would be suitable for my requirements. At R358 per month I deemed it so too. Suddenly I am slapped with first a R710 then a R1285 bill. My habits have not changed. How is this possible? I go back to the MTN shop at Cresta where Maki, the very helpful assistant who had sold me the contract requests MTN to send me an itemised bill so we can discover why the charges are so high. That was on about 17 or 18 June. I was told it should take 48hrs max for me to receive it by email. No response. I sent emails on 25 and 27 June repeating my request and stating that I query the amount charged. This morning I find my bank account debited but not a word from MTN. Please help me. The matter needs to be investigated and mistakes rectified.
