How difficult is it to get an itemised billing???

Had a problem with my first account of my new cell phone contract. Want to find out why it is so high and requested an itemised billing for my phone on 30th June. Phone almost every second day with a promise that it will be escalated to the Supervisor and resent to me. Asked to speak to the supervisor but this is not possible either and was promised the supervisor would call me which never happened either. Why can't they get it right just to send me a simple itemised billing. I need to ensure that whatever the problem was last time, does not happen again as I cannot afford an extra R500 on my account that they cannot tell me where this is from... They just say data usage but I want to see how this is possible... So a simple or I thought it was simple request for an itemised bill seems to be rather a challenge and it's not like I don't have to pay for the itemised bill??? It's been 13 days since the request and know I am just going to be told the same old thing and to follow up within next 2 days if I have not received it... Can't they get something simple right??? Makes me worry if I am using the correct service provider if this is a challenge.
