Incorrect information = Ridiculous Account

On June 4th I went to MTN World Wear to upgrade my cell phone contract. I stayed on the same contract, just renewed it to the current one with data included.

I was promised that I wouldn't be receiving a hefty first account as long as I didn't use all my data allocation, as that would definitely incur costs.

On June 13th, I received a bill for R2240.00 for myusual account and the data which I had used, which I got promised would be allocated with immediate effect after receiving the phone.

I even went back to World Wear MTN and they agreed with me, telling me that there's no ways I should be receiving such a huge bill.

Now, I have been told that I was incorrectly promised my data would be available with immediate effect and that it only came into place from the first day of the billing period which is June 13th and that I must pay for what I used and I can get a letter of apology. Well, I don't freakin care about a letter of apology, that doesn't cover the R2240 which is apparently going to be debited from my account on Monday the 31st. I want the data amount credited from my account with immediate effect!

Promises should be kept and uneducated staff taught properly!
