A data contract/3g was terminated before it was put into use, due to benefits being mis-sold. At the same time as the data contract was taken out, a straight-up, month-to-month contract for phone/blackberry enterprise etc was also taken out. The data contract was incorrectly debited to my account. I sent a copy of the cancellation, plus a copy of the debit (reflecting the DATA contract/Account no.) & requested that the incorrect debit be reversed on 09/01/2013.
On 16/01/2013 Cello C terminated my Cell phone service!!
I.e. They cancelled the wrong contract.
They sent an email to this effect - no notification to my phone, before they simply CUT OFF my means of communication.
After lengthy telecommunications to Cell C Customer service, they acknowledged their error (refer telecom with: Cindy Mchunu) BUT COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM UNTIL "TOMORROW MORNING"!!!
It's 09h30 am - and I STILL do not have the use of my phone!!!
If I had an emergency I might as well have died, the way Cell C plays with people's lives!!!
You can simply SWITCH SOMEONE OFF, but you cannot provide a valid service per a legitimate contract?
I DO NOT WANT AN APOLOGY - YOU DON'T CARE - Just FIX YOUR ERROR!!!
