Incompetent staff because of incompetent manage

I took my phone in on the 1st of June for repairs, knowing the warranty expires on the 3rd of June, the sales person said it is not a problem, the phone will be logged for collection with the repair center on Monday, meaning it will still be in warranty. I only got an SMS from the repair center on the 6th, 5 days after I gave MTN my phone. The repair center says to me I have to pay for repairs as the collection for repairs was logged after the 3rd which is when my warranty expired. I explained to them that I gave the phone to MTN on the 1st and they reply that the store is liable in that case and they will send the phone back to the store. I got to the store on the 18th (all this happened in June) and the MANAGER & SUPERVISOR are not at work, so I leave all the documentation required and today is the 21st and still no word from the MANAGER/SUPERVISOR.By the way, this store is owned by MTN and is not a franchise. I have been trying to call the store, but the phone rings and rings with no answer. I have not had my phone for 3 weeks now and counting!
