Dear Telkom
I opened my account with Telkom in April 2013.
I received my account at the end of May 2013 for 13th April - mid June. I thought I was likely to receive a bill of around R1000, instead I received a bill of R1450.
When I contacted 10210, I queried this amount and the consultant said they too could see I have been charged for two lots of Internet for May and June 2013 R174.56 x 4.
I logged a dispute, when I called back the dispute had apparently been rejected and the computer systems were down so no one could see why I had been billed twice.
I was informed the consultant had logged another dispute on my behalf.
Ipaid the R1450, or else I would be penalized and interest would be charged as well as the line cut.
I phoned Telkom back today to find that my 2nd request for refund has been rejected again and Lebo, the lady assisting me, said all supervisors and managers are in a meeting and that she would log a dispute a 3rd time round! No Telkom employee can tell me why I am charged for two internet services/ provide feedback on refund and most importantly tell me which internet service is active and which not so that I can cancel this Internet line.
This company is a Joke.
