Miss-information on account charges from consultan

Per my previous report regarding telkom and my account. I just found out that the internet charges are not charged pro-rata, which the consultants insisted that my first statement will be pro-rata. But after a phone call from the Telkom Internet department, the lady said that the Internet gets charged differently to the line. Internet gets charged monthly and the line gets charged pro-rata. Also the consultant failed to tell me that the internet gets activated on the day of application and not the day when I actually received my line and adsl router. I don't see the reasoning for having to different charging methods. The other competitors charge pro-rata for there internet why cant Telkom. I eventually had to look up myself for the Telkom Internet terms and conditions cause, no one could manage to send me it

A colleague of mine at work, said that when he went to enquire about the same product, the consultant also told him that the first month is going to be pro-rata, nothing about seperate charges per internet and per line.

I would like to inform Telkom that I am going to lay a formal complaint with the Consumer Protection Commissioner, for miss-information as that is my right
