8TA - PROMISES TO BE BROKEN!

Despite numerous calls to customer care - 8TA and several visits from the 8TA technicians, I have had ongoing problems with connection to the internet. Each visit has brought to light, the fact that THERE IS SIMPLY NO SIGNAL!!! The follow up time is "never ending" and although it has been proved beyond doubt that I am paying for a service that 8TA cannot provide, nothing concrete has happened. In desperation I put a stop to the deibt order going through my bank about 3 months ago. Last week I received a message Oon my cell phone that nearly R400 had been paid to 8TA, despite the bank being informed of the reason for non payment! They are therefore still holding me to my contract (which ends the middle of August). R200 per month may not seem a lot of money, but it is to me being a pensioner and it's one of the ways I can stay in communication with my family who are all overseas. Consumers have swallowed a belly full of bad service for too long!!!
