Original post (2012-09-21) I have weak cellphone reception at my home, and I have contacted Vodacom for a possible way that this can be fixed, either by me or by Vodacom.
After the initial query they were incredibly quick to ask which numbers are affected, and the 2 relevant Vodacom numbers were supplied.
It is now a month, and 21 ignored emails later...
I receive a read receipt for every email that their (useless) Customer "Care" people read, but there is absolutely no feedback...
I am not sure whether this is acceptable to Vodacom, but even a "we do not care about your problem - port to Cell C/MTN" email would be better than being ignored.
After feedback in December: Utterly Disgusted: I was contacted by a Vodacom representative soon after posting the report, and the person mentioned that an antenna would be placed in the neighbourhood where I live in the next few weeks.
It is now 4 and a half months later (and 5 and a half months since the issue was first raised) and complete silence.
Thank you for the platitude Vodacom... but I would prefer service. Or at least a follow up.
Still, nothing has been done...
