I went into the branch to do an upgrade. I went from using a blackberry to Samsung s4. When I took delivery of my phone I was shown how to make a call and that was it. When asked about loading email and learning how to use the phone, I was told I had to phone the Samsung lady to find out when she is in store and that she was the only one who could help me. I went to see her the following day, waited for 45 mins and had to leave. I was shocked that no one else in that huge store could help me. I didn't go back and decided to try and figure out how to use my phone on my own. A few days ago, I received a bill for a total of R2600. My average spend is approx R900! approx R1300.00 is data. Having been a blackberry user I have never received a "data bill" so this was new to me. I took all my information to Justine at mtn umhlanga, she sent an email to billing to query but also said that if I used the data then I must pay for it. My point is, as a new user of this phone especially after coming from blackberry, I should have been warned of extra data charges and should have been trained on how to use my new phone. I don't think this bill should be for my account.
