Samsung S4 Galaxy upgrade SHOCK

I upgraded on 19 Dec 2013 from Blackberry to Samsung S4 Galaxy, not knowing OR being INFORMED of all the "Loop holes" and extras costs this will bring me. According to the consultant he gave me "a much better package at a much better price", BUT NOT informing me of the extra R170 telephone charge, neither of the extremely expensive data costs. I was not showed or explained how the phone or data usage works. I was used to Blackberry with BIS. I receive emails on my cell phone (that I mentioned). Unfortunately this phone ran me a bill of R1, 250 for January, where my average bill was normally in the region of R430 pm. NEVER NEVER NEVER was I informed of ALL the facts and costs. I can not afford this Samsung phone, that I was also not even asked! I have asked for an exchange, hopefully this will be positive. Seems like the consultants are pushed for new deals and upgrades, targets to make perhaps? Thus "forgetting" to inform their customers of all the facts and costs. What if a customer is really not in the position to make the jump in payments from R430pm to R1250?
