I have been a client of MTN for 13 years. I have an internet service from MTN with 2 gigs per month, I have never been over it. But they decided to bill me for approximately R 1 500.00 for something called "Packed data content" which I have no idea what it is. I went to the Norwood Mall branch of MTN where I was made to feel like a second class citizen. Eventually I was told that in order to get to the bottom of it I must get an itemized bill which will cost me R 19.00 that was 3 weeks ago and despite complaining numerous times nothing has happened. Subsequently I went to MTN in Morningside where "another complain was made" a reference number was given to me and told that they will call me in within 24 hours is now nearly two weeks and nothing. I think this is disgusting and dishonest, especially since I cannot afford the extra charges foe something I did not use.
