I am a very loyal vodacom client for the past 17 years. On the 22th of December I went the iStore in Fourways to activate my old number back on a contract (i was waiting for iPhone5). It took a week for them to get approval, they blamed Vodacom for the delay. I was the one calling the shop, no one ever called me to give me feedback regarding the activation of the contract. On the 31 of Dec eventually I went back for the 3th time to find out that is been approved and I can pick up my phone. I was advised by the consultant (Tayler) that activation will take 48 hours. I am an existing client and only special request I had, was for Vodacom to activate my prepaid into contact. On the 2rd of Jan I realized that they activated brand new number. I send an email to Tayler rectify his mistake but he blamed me that I requested it. I was very disappointed that kind of service. I drove to the store and spoke to the assistant manager (Indian guy), he was very unfriendly also told me that there is nothing he can do and only Vodacom can fix the problem. Long story short, its a month later and my contract is still not active and iStore is blaming Vodacom for the delay.
