Signed a new contract on 22 May, so a sim swap needed to be done with my existing pay as you go number to fit into a new device.

It has been 2 weeks now. I have got the new device, but MTN has still not connected me even though they are charging me for May and June for their bundled contract services.

At the same time, my current phone can only make sms and calls ~ this is a huge problem as I am a freelancer and run my entire business day-to-day from my device.

I have been to 4 different stores of MTN to get this sorted, including the MTN headquarters in Fairlands this morning.
I have made 7 calls to their service center ~ each time put on hold for over 15 minutes to be told that it would be solved 2-24 hours, but as I have stated, it has been 2 weeks now.

After my visit to their HQ today, they promised resolve ~ but now I am completely cut-off and cannot even make or receive phone calls ~ which is highly frustrating as it means I am literally spending money with MTN to lose money from my clients.

I am not sure how to proceed to get what is owed to me and how to resolve the issue.
