I upgraded my contract on the 21 March and received a Z10 on a Mtn200 contract with 250MB bundle. Tyrone from the Westville Mall branch informed me that this was sufficient data bundle for BBM & WhatsApp. He also informed me that if I exceeded this I would be charged 6c/ Mb.
Sat 20 April my service was suspended, I called 808 & was told I had exceeded my credit limit because of extensive data usage. Was informed that the bill was still OPEN so could not be informed which sites, etc had been visited to incur this. I went to the Mtn Customer service in Pav that day to query this. Masi (consultant) informed me that I had to increase my credit limit to unsuspend the account which I did and wait till the account was consolidated on May 10 before I could be informed of the sites that could have caused the high data usage. He also phoned an 808 manager (Andre) to help. He recommended switching off the data services and using it minimally till this could be resolved - which I'm doing!
Since May 10, despite numerous calls to 808 and being given two separate ref numbers (100023585 & 100437900) and being promised that a report will be emailed to me - I have received NO FEEDBACK!
