Applied on 02 Feb 2013 to transfer telephone line/ADSL service to new home end of March. First SMS promised date was for 26 March. Nothing happened. With difficulty we found out that the order was cancelled by Telkom technicians. New order created, new promised dates a few times, all resulted in no shows. Hours on my cell each time to get new promised dates, no feedback ever. On 8 May a technician contacted me stating that "the other section" assigned a number with 567 prefix and it should be 548. Requests and promised dates cancelled since then a few times as a 567 number assigned repeatedly.
Montana direct shop refuses any assistance and call centre keep on referring us to them. Telkom do not allow me to create a dispute, need a tel nr. to log the dispute against, which I do not have. Have to pay my internet contract monthly which I cannot use due to no Telkom line.
Call centre operator on 8 May aggressively accused us of lying as she said we never requested a service and no order ever placed and put the phone down even thought we had a Telkom SMS stating that a technician was dispatched to our premises to do the installation.
