Poor service from 8 ta

Due to a change in my personal banking details, and after informing the service provider, my monthly debit order was not taken off and due to that, my line was suspended immediately without notice. I called the call centre and was adviced to make a cash deposit and fax and email proof of payment in. I happily obliged and was informed that my line would be reconnected within the next 24 hours. 7 days have passed and I've called the call centre for the passed 3 days and every single time I call I have been assisted by a new team leader who has no record of my previous call and gives me the same 24 hour story. There is a clear record on the system that my account has been paid but all I get is that the system has escalated the problem and I will be helped in a few hours. It's ridiculous that I have to hold on for close to 30 minutes per call to be fed. It took them a second to disconnect the line but over a week to reconnect the line even though I was ensured it will be done in 24 hours.
