9360 missing!! I am without a unit for 5months

My handset was booked in 19.01.2013.It was not repaired because the branch registered it under the wrong network provider hence making it my problem for the last 5months as a customer. Two months ago I was promised a new unit which has been dispatched according to head office on the 16.05.2013.Must be arriving by donkey... I was informed that there is no Mtn 9360's in Durban hence the over-long wait but guess what? there is a unit at City View branch but they refuse to issue that to me because of red tape. They would rather I wait a further 7months for a brand new unit till my contract expires with them looks like or they just too incompetent to swop the IMEi Numbers on the system and keep long standing customer of theirs?
