I have been a customer with Telkom for just under 3 years now. There is always some problem and they just never fix it. I am sick and tired of paying for my ADSL line and ALWAYS having problems with it. About two weeks ago my ADSL line started acting up, (high latency and unstable). I contacted Telkom, they logged the fault. About a day and a half later they send me an SMS saying that the problem is resolved. It was not resolved. I contacted them again and logged a fault again, and again, and again. No success. Desperate for any help I phoned my ISP (mweb) and asked a technician if he might be able to help me. He did some tests on my line and apparently I am connected to a congested exchange. I am extremely annoyed with this, I feel this is a breach of contract, Telkom promising a 2mb speed line but its worse than dialup.
