I have been experiencing really slow internet and high pings during the evenings and weekends on my adsl line who is managed by afrihost. Trace tests show that the problem appears on the 2nd hop with any dsl accounts I do the tests with. I have seen similar complaints about congested exchanges not being serviced by telkom and afrihost can't do anything as it is a telkom fault. I will be visiting the silverton telkom direct to raise this issue and if it is not fixed I will have to take this further; the online customer support is of no use and the guys running the call centre just redirect you in circles. I'm sick of receiving for half the service that I am paying for (if a laggy, slow line is even half)
