I have a 3G data contract with Vodacom. The signal was excellent, until 3 months back. I cannot get onto 3G anymore, and even Egde is difficult. The signal is so bad that it is not usable. I have logged multiple calls with Vodacom, who promised to look into it. I only received one call, in which they say the signal in Randpark Ridge was always bad. I disagreed as it was acceptable 3 months ago.
I want to cancel the contract, but Vodacom want me to pay in approx R1, 500.
They said that if they investigate and the signal is bad, then they can waiver the pay in. It has been a couple of weeks since the call centre agent in cancellations logged the call to investiage the problem, but I have had no feedback yet.
