Mtn
Overcharged REQ 2141867

Telecommunications

MTN did not answer my questions (11 May 2013). The answer to these questions are in MTN "Addendum to the MTN SP subscriber contract terms and conditions applicable to consumers"
Questions:
1) Should MTN not have gtiven me written (or sms from MTN SP 1.1.1no1.36) notice at the end date of the initial contract? Clause 2:2.1 (i) Yes or no?
2) Should MTN not have inform me of any material changes that would apply if the contract is to be renewed or if it otherwise continues beyond the end of the initial contract period? Clause 2:2.1 (ii) Yes or no
3) Should MTN not have inform me of "your options to either terminate the contract at the end of the initial contract or to agree to a renewal"? Clause 2:2.1 (iii) Yes or no
4) Neither MTN or myself made any attempt to cancel this contract. In this context explain what it means that this contract will continue automatically on a month to month basis.
Could you please read point A "Consumer protection Act of 2008" which is part of your contract information. Documentation on 11/1/2013 (entered data contract) stipulated my 2 contracts as TOPUP 200@R99UY0. Information given to me by MTN which emphasize the fact that you have overcharged me!
