Very poor service and attitude

I made a call to Telkom and received a ref.no 155CNK110113 about a week ago and told that a technician would phone and come through to identify the problem. Yesterday, a week later, no one had phoned so we decided to phone through to find out the progress on our query on 10210. We followed the voice prompts and were told that the query was resolved successfully. Finding this very strange i waited for a call centre operator. At first he seemed very friendly and helpful after I explained the problem and gave the reference number. He then rattled off that the reason for it being crackly was due to the phone line being on the same as the ADSL and we needed a filter to which I replied then why was the query marked as successful if no technician had come through to sort firstly and the problem not fixed considering the line for both phone and ADSL was installed by Telkom. After which his attitude changed and became stroppy telling me to check the lines etc etc. I explained that I was not a technician and we pay for a service. I asked for his name and a new reference number to which he put the phone down on me. I find this appalling service and my problem is still not resolved... Mr Wood
