I took out a cell phone contract on the 19/04/13 for a Blackberry 9360 (black) at Vodacom Shop Hemingways Mall East London. I returned the faulty handset to the store on 30/04/13. Vodacom replaced phone with a PURPLE Blackberry 9360 which I did not accept. They told me that they alternately provide me with a Refurbished black handset (INSULT!). I spoke to a Vodacom technician (Jerome) 043 7269211 who informed me that Vodacom Hemingways had been credited with value of a new handset. So far I have not received my phone 37 days after the contract was taken out. No one from Vodacom Hemingways has ever contacted me about the phone despite me having to go there on numerous occasions to query the status of the replacement. The staff refuse that I speak to the manager, Mr S Jacob. He has never returned my request to have him call me which I requested from staff member Imraan
They will not allow me to cancel or change my contract.
