Contract upgrade - phone changing not granted

I want to lodge a complaint about the service I got when I was upgrading my cell-phone contract with Chatz shop in Carletonville (Pick n Pay centre). I was very specific with the salesperson of what I wanted, a Samsung galaxy Notebook N8000. He offered me a Tab 2 and misguided me saying both phones have the same feautres and 5MPs. There were no tablets on display in the shop that one can open and view the picture and so I took his word and accepted the deal. I returned the phone the following day and they didnt want to change when i pointed out to them that the picture quality is not what they said it is. Vodacom customer care did not assist as they said its only the store manager who can change/amend the contract. Up to now I dont have a phone even though I paid an upfront fee of R2500 and still continuing to pay the monthly contrat fee, on the phone I do not have. They also threatened that if i leave the phone at the shop it will be my falut if it gets lost but was adamant to leave it there as its not insured and under dispute. the manager Lauren Naidoo dismissed me and did not want to listen even though the consultant realised their mistake.
