Not willing to help with upgrading

On Tuesday the 29 th of January I went to upgrade on my contract and I asked about a deal in the leaflet. I thought that I can get both phones and they said its one or the other. I pointed out the phone that i wanted and got a different one, only realising it was the wrong one at home. The following day I went back to rectify the problem. He cancelled the upgrade and charged me R610-53 for cancelling and said he must change my contract to get the phone I wanted so I cancelled everything and went to another shop on 31st of January where they said I can take the phone I wanted on my contract. So I did the upgrade when they told me the amount of R610-53 (which is still not cleared) must be cleared before I can upgrade. I went back to the first shop on the 1 st of February to see why the amount was still not cleared and he told me he is busy. I went back on the 2nd of February to find out if its been cancelled when after 3 days he phoned to cancel the R610-53 which I still don't know for what and why had to pay the amount. I have been a vodacom customer for over 15 years and I'm very upset about the service I got and the way I was treated I want the problem to be solved and compensated.
