Vodacom bad bad service!!!

My cellphone got lost on 30 March 2013. When I could not find it I went and bought a new phone and went to the vodacom shop in Upington to do a sim swop. It was 12H30 and BOTH the Vodacom and Vodacom 4 U shops were closed. I called the call centre and were put through to the contract department where I was told that I have to go to a Vodacom shop to do a sim swop since this is a contract number. Here is my problem: The vodacom shops in Upington were closed over the weekend and I live in Springbok were there is NO vodacom shop!!! They did not even give me alternatives. Just said that well sorry, but then I have to go to another vodacom shop. Well I am back in Springbok today and the nearest shop would be Upington (4 hours drive) and Cape Town (6 hours drive)!!! What am I going to do?? I need that number! I do my banking with that number. Does Vodacom even care about their contract customers? I don't think so. Now I have to deal with this never mind the fact my phone contained contacts and precious photo's of my children that I cannot replace. I am furious that Vodacom cannot and will not accomodate my specific need. I am done with Vodacom. Cell C here I come!!
