Watch out when changing contracts

In Nov 2012 I took a premature upgrade to get the S3. I went to Vodacom World and the consultant convinced me to switch my long term Talk 200s to a Smart something as the handset is covered by the monthly charge.
When he printed the quote he scratched out an amount there on and his words was, "Don't worry. I don't know why this is on here, you don't have to pay it. You only going to pay the R150 admin" When my bill came the end of Dec 2014, I was slapped with a R2000 incl. migration fee.
I was not informed of this while in front of the consultant. If he had told me this I would've stayed on my package and just payed the extra handset fee. When I logged a request with Customer care, all I got back was, You are liable for the other handset fee until the 24 months on that runs out. I knew that anyway. My call was about me being mislead about the migration fee. I haven't got time to go to Midrand again. Very disappointed as I have been a Vodacom customer for many years. A good paying one on top of that. False representation by consultants in the highest gea
