I upgraded my cellphone contracts with MTN in December 2012 and since then it has been 5 months of endless hassle with MTN accounts department not updating our accounts correctly and therefor showing on their system that we are in arears in our payments. Up to date I still have not received an invoice for each of my cellphone contracts nor have I received a statement to show what amounts they claim I am in arears for even after repeatedly requesting this telephonically as well as via e-mail. Due to a call centre employees mistake of not cancelling my BIS off one of the contracts I have and only cancelling one I have been charged for BIS for this contract since December which I can not use as we upgraded to android phones which do not use BIS. This i then found out was the amount which I am still owing to MTN. After several ref numbered calls to MTN I finally received an e-mail dated 23/04/2013 from MTNSP admitting their fault and that I will be credited on my account in the amount of R169.36 reference for my e-mail 99167282.
Since that e-mail my service has been suspended 5 times in the last month as MTN has still not passed that credit on the system. Terrible service received!
